Our site is a very busy community hub for people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We offer one-to-one counselling, telephone counselling, a drop-in café and a number of peer led groups, ranging from gardening to singing.
We are seeking Reception Volunteers to assist with our busy reception desk. You will manage the reception area and be the first point of contact for staff, peer support volunteers and clients. There is also the possibility of this role being widened to encompass an advice, guidance and signposting service for walk-in and telephone clients.
You will have an understanding of how to interact with people in a busy environment. We are looking for someone with an outgoing and approachable personality. You may be dealing with general enquiries about our services or an individual in distress, so a calm and caring nature would be advantageous.
You will receive support in your role from a dedicated service coordinator who will offer guidance and training as needed to help you in the role.
