Recently commissioned by the London Borough of Bromley and Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group, Bromley Third Sector Enterprise (BTSE) will be providing a new approach to supporting Bromley residents including:

  • Support of older people
  • Adults with long term health conditions
  • Adults with learning disabilities
  • Adults with physical disabilities
  • People with mental health issues
  • Carers

This is an exciting time to become part of the team at Bromley & Lewisham Mind as we work with our partners Age UK Bromley & GreenwichCommunity Links BromleyCitizens Advice Bromley and Bromley Mencap. We will deliver services for local people to help them maintain both their physical and mental health as well as their independence and employment opportunities.

About the role

As Peer Support Co-ordinator, you will manage and lead the development and delivery of a range of peer support groups for people with common mental health problems across the borough of Bromley.

The groups will look to support people experiencing stress, depression and anxiety in community venues across the borough, through mutual support & self-management techniques as well as reducing social isolation.


Reporting to the Senior Mental Health Information & Advice Worker, you will have the experience of the following to make you stand out:

  • Working in health and social care services
  • Supporting volunteers and/or other staff
  • Working within community-based services
  • Developing projects or services
