Building on the success of our Mindful Mums Programme in Bromley, we are shortly to extend our support to help prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems to Lewisham.

We are seeking a Project Worker to assist in the development, delivery and evaluation of a programme of volunteer-led support for mums during the perinatal period (pregnancy to 1 year). Groups will be run in Children and Family Centres across the borough of Lewisham.

As a Mindful Mums Project Worker you will be involved in setting up the project in Lewisham, including recruiting and training volunteer mums who have lived through their own perinatal mental health problems. You will work collaboratively, supporting volunteers to deliver Mindful Mums sessions to new and expectant mums across the Lewisham borough.

You will be an effective communicator with experience of working within community based or voluntary services. Your exceptional organisation skills will support the successful delivery of the project and ensure that it is effectively evaluated.  You will help ensure the project is marketed to the appropriate audiences.
