The Rainbow Ball, a fundraising event in aid of Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich (BLG) Mind.
Natalie Payne is a volunteer who has run a successful, annual charity ball in aid of BLG Mind, and has previously raised nearly £5,000 for BLG Mind with each previous charity ball event.
Speaking about her motivation, Natalie said,
“Having suffered from depression for a number of years and having received some incredible support from BLG Mind, I’m holding the Ball to raise money in the hope that at least one other person could receive the same support in their time of need.”
The 2019 charity ball is called The Rainbow Ball, celebrating positivity, wellbeing and connecting with other people. It will take place on Saturday 16th March 2019 and will be held at The Warren, Croydon Road, Hayes, BR2 7AL. The ball will start at 7.30pm for dinner at 8pm, and finish at 1am.
A three course meal, half a bottle wine per person, DJ, photo booth are included in the price of a ticket. You can purchase individuals tickets or book a complete table for 10 people.
There will also be a silent auction and raffle, where prizes include:
- Tickets for a family to visit Epsom Downs Racecourse
- A three course dinner for two people at Coppa Club restaurant in London
- Tickets to family-friendly music festival weekends
- A tour for two adults at the Sipsmiths Distillery.
Money raised from the event will be donated to BLG Mind to support work to improve the lives of local people experiencing mental health difficulties or living with dementia.
