Having secured a small grant from Mind, the Greenwich BLG Mind team, and Michael Woods, an experienced walk leader from the Healthy Walks programme in Greenwich, led a mindful walk at Oxleas Wood to mark Mindful Monday on Monday 24th September 2018.
This session enabled the group to experience the benefits of bringing mindfulness to an everyday experience, incorporating a sound meditation with the history of the ancient woods, its trees and natural habitat.
People who attended were captivated by the beauty of the environment and all gave positive feedback…
