Counselling & Information

Two people in counselling

Free and confidential counselling (including crisis and long-term counselling) and information for adults living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

How Counselling Can Help

Counselling and talking to a counsellor can help improve your general mental health and wellbeing by talking about things that can affect anyone during their life:

  • feeling stressed, sad, low or depressed
  • excessive worry or anxiety
  • grief or bereavement
  • loneliness
  • relationship difficulties with family or partners
  • major life changes and crisis.

Talking with a counsellor can help you understand more about your thoughts and feelings about the problems you are experiencing, so you can find your own solutions.

We provide counselling for people from all backgrounds, with a specialist provision for Eastern European, African, African-Caribbean and Asian cultures, with counsellors who understand the different cultures and their connection with a person’s wellbeing.

We provide one-to-one counselling in person and via telephone. Telephone support can be anonymous and is without time limit.
